A Group of elite fantasy managers will each own a team named for their favorite MLB Franchise (if available no-duplicate team names). They will then draft rosters of their choosing from all MLB team rosters.
In the 2004 MLB Reality Keeper Baseball League we all compete for the ultimate prize in fantasy sports, The Reality Football Champion
Using our Tripod web site we have created a customized schedule and customized divisions, to create a more realistic effect unlike any other fantasy sports league
The scoring system will be head to head, with no maximum moves, no maximum trades, and no salary cap...We will conduct an online draft. the date will be set at a later date.
In the year 2004 we will begin a new style of baseball in MLB Reality. We will be using the Yahoo baseball league for lineup changes and scoring, but we won't really be using Yahoo. We will be using this website for everything in this league. We will post the Schedules and Standings here on this site. The league will consist of 16 teams, and 4 divisions in 2 conferences. We will use the scores at the end of the week to decide who wins...ex: If Reds beats Indians 9-2, Reds will be 1-0, and Indians 0-1. If a tie occurs, we will go by the 1)pitching staff with most wins, 2)Team with most total TB, 3) Highest team average, 4) Lowest team ERA.

NOTES:
Here's an example of how the points system will work for the scores. It will not be by the Number you have at the end of your score, but the total that you will have against the team you are playing.
Here are 2 examples. On the Yahoo Schedule. The 49ers are playing the Jays, and the Expos are playing the Rams.
On our Schedule, the 49ers plays the Rams, and the Expos would play the Jays.
Here's how the scoring would work.
Team R HR RBI SB TB AVG OBP W L SV BB K ERA WHIP Score
Cap-Pele 49ers
32 13 34 2 122 .318 .379 4 3 2 20 54 4.02 1.42 4
Jays
44 13 36 5 128 .355 .458 3 6 5 16 49 4.45 1.24 9
Team R HR RBI SB TB AVG OBP W L SV BB K ERA WHIP Score
expos
35 8 32 6 98 .274 .348 6 2 7 21 69 3.23 1.18 8
Lac a Poucette Rams
43 17 47 4 135 .319 .408 1 7 5 23 53 6.63 1.65 6
Here's an example:
Team R HR RBI SB TB AVG OBP W L SV BB K ERA WHIP Sco
Cap-Pele 49ers 32 13 34 2 122 .318 .379 4 3 2 20 54 4.02 1.42 6
Rams 43 17 47 4 135 .319 .408 1 7 5 23 53 6.63 1.65 8
Final Score would be Rams 8 49ers 6
Rams would receive 1 win, the 49ers would have 1 lost.
Team R HR RBI SB TB AVG OBP W L SV BB K ERA WHIP Sco
Expos 35 8 32 6 98 .274 .348 6 2 7 21 69 3.23 1.18 7
Jays 44 13 36 5 128 .355 .458 3 6 5 16 49 4.45 1.24 7
As you can see this game concludes in a 7-7 Tie. Therefor we go by Tie Breaker which is Pitching Staff with Most wins. Which is the Expos.
Therefor the final score would be Expos 8 and Jays 7 Expos win in Extra Innings, and gets a win, while the Jays get a lost in the Standings.
I will be updating all Scores each morning, and will be posting them on the Yahoo Board, also on our Message Board (Off the Website) Make sure, you check them each day, to see who's leading and winning in your game.)
Hope this explains how it's going to work for the point system and scores.
